MCcain is only candidate that makes sense

Our government is broken and finally we have a chance to put the right man in the White House that has the courage, the will and the plan to fix it. Don't be fooled by the left wing's tired responses. They plan to do exactly what we have been seeing all along. Raise the taxes and keep that money in Washington rather than in the hands of American workers who earned it.

Their plan.... Raise the taxes on businesses both small and large. What they are avoiding to reveal is their knowledge that those businesses will increase the costs of the products or services they provide because whether they can afford the increases in the taxes or not, they will not change their lifestyles to help us.

What MCcain is planning to do, if I understand what he has been saying, is to cut needless and wastefully government spending. This spending is every where in government. How many assistants do Senators or Congressmen need? If they have time to travel all over the country campaigning for offices while still maintaining the office they hold, then they have time to do their own research or get their own coffee or what ever the assistants do. These assistants could then move on to businesses where they can make non government paychecks. And if the citizens of the United States had a clue how much time government employees spend during the work day doing non work things like shopping, drinking at a local watering hole, surfing the net ect.... they would loose their minds.

The issue of energy is a major one and it seems to be one that MCcain is not only aware of but knows can not be solved over night. Obama wants to block off shore drilling here in our own country and put money into finding alternative fuels. MCcain also wants to put money into alternative fuels but realizes that it will take time and even once a solution is found it will take even more time to produce it. This could take many years if not decades. So the obvious solution is to put money into alternative fuel discovery and development but also tap into our own oil right here. By doing that it creates more jobs, begins to build the independence we seek and still works toward the effort to rid ourselves of our depency on oil.

MCcain is an admirable man who represents Americans. He has chosen a running mate who shares his traits of honesty, straight talk, and integrity. Together these to are going to demand the same from everyone in government and make them work for Americans like they are suppose to do. Neither of these people talk down to Americans like their opponents do and I am proud that I will be casting my vote in November for the MCcain/Palin ticket.

Palin for President 2012?

What a woman. Aren't we lucky to be getting a preview of the republican Presidential nomination for 2012. She has entered this national arena ready willing and apparently able although there are many that don't see that. They must be watching with blinders.

I keep hearing the democrats that are asked opinions on her say the usual tag lines related to the Obama campaign. Example... when asked what they thought of Palin's speech they said the same thing they said about the proceeding speakers both from Tues and Wednesday, that the economy was not mentioned and they didn't offer a plan to fix it

I disagree. Very cleary each one pointed out that people are struggling because of the extra money they are spending at the gas pump and to heat their homes. (In my own state we also had major tax increases such as property and sales tax all made by our recently elected Governor who had already made a mess out of the city he was mayor of before hand. All together this roughly comes out to about $800 extra dollars a month) Immediately after these speakers mentioned the fuel increases, they reminded people that we have our own oil and natural gas right here on our own land that could be and should be drilled to take our dependency out of the hands of other countries that really don't care about our families. Not only would this give us more fuel independence, it would create more jobs inside our own country. Which is another issue the Obama camp claims the speakers didn't mention. In addition, we would be looking at alternative energy.

Fred Thompson also drew a brilliant visual to show what Obama's tax plan would do to our country. Although he would be taxing the higher income brackets, and not the little guy, those taxes would filter down to the ones who can afford it the least which would prevent even more money from being spent simply because they won't be able to afford luxuries like clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics. This will ultimately cause more businesses to close their doors and increase unemployment. Hmmm sounds to me like Obama needs to go back and rethink his plans.

And of course when all else fails, try claiming the vetting process wasn't done properly. They claim that the vetting didn't begin until last Wednesday. Well I found when doing a search that back in June of this year, people from Mccain's camp went to Alaska solely to look at her as a possible running mate. If I can find this with a simple search on the internet (found it on first attempt), you would think that the analysts could do a better job. They have absolutely nothing to back up their claims and find the responces of these Obama supporters desperate and pitiful.

Watching the RNC unfold this week has led me to believe that not only will be be electing John Mccain and Sarah Palin to the White House as President and Vice President, but in 2012, we will be electing our very first woman President in Sarah Palin. Mccains pick was brilliant and he has my full support.
